Nappanee Tornado

These are pictures from the damage caused by the tornado that hit Nappanee Indiana.  They were taken by my girlfriends friend who lives down there.  I went down there on the 21st of october but could not get to the storm side of Nappanee because that part is considered "A State of Emergency"


The good news: The shed is still there.
The Bad News: It wasn't there before the storm
and no one knows where it came from.



This is my Girlfriends friends slide...found around the corner and 3 blocks down



This was the apparently the only food that the tornado liked because it was the only major fast food place left basically undamaged



Nappanee's new way of getting drivers to stop at stop signs

I'm not completely positive but i don't think thats the way your supposed to mow the lawn



The comment on this was "The factory has a hole!!!"



They complained too much about not getting there paper



This by many that have seen this picture has been considered the most powerful picture of the damage. 
Thats a strip of metal wrapped around the cross like the cloth you would sometimes see on crosses.
